The Soul Is the Limit

The blossoms of summer burst forth,

Piercing through the curt winter, a sword

Of chirpy joy. The regrets and many

Sorry feelings of the human mind

Dissipate into airy happiness.

Sun kissed sands and faces light up

Embracing the infinite warmth.

I spread my wings and fly,

Blissfully ignorant of the many perils

That lurk in the mighty skies.

I trust the innate goodness

Of the world and its people.

I fly towards freedom,

Knowing full well

That the soul is my only limit.
