What control have I, over the universe,
Over nature, and time and tide;
I am but a tiny speck,
Afloat in this ocean of mankind
Who am I, to make tigers roar,
Or ask the butterfly to sigh;
I am but an inconspicuous part
Of the teeming millions passing by.
Who am I, to make the winds rustle,
Or command the clouds to thunder;
I am but a mere onlooker,
Lost in this world of wonder.
I am the master of my destiny.
The sun won’t shine at my will;
I know I can change the world,
With dreams I aspire to fulfill.
